The Usos are widely regarded as one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history. They made their WWE debut in 2010 and have since amassed an impressive legacy, including eight total tag team championship reigns—three Raw Tag Team Championships and five SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Recently, The Usos officially reunited after a period of separation, sparked when Jimmy came to Jey’s rescue from an attack by The Vision. This reunion ignited one of WWE’s most intense rivalries between The Usos and The Brons. The feud culminated in a tag team match at Wrestlepalooza on September 20, 2025.

Despite their resilience and teamwork, Jimmy and Jey Uso lost to Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in a chaotic, no-disqualification match officiated by LA Knight. The rivalry has drawn praise from wrestling veterans who follow storylines closely.

Jim Cornette Is Not Impressed With The Usos’ Recent WWE Run

Speaking on his Drive Thru podcast, wrestling veteran Jim Cornette shared his thoughts on the ongoing storyline rivalry between The Usos and The Brons. He praised the heels for their work on TV, but didn’t say anything positive about the twin brothers. Cornette feels that Jimmy and Jey Uso’s recent work as a tag team is dull and uninteresting, given their already big reputation in the industry.

I’m loving Bron Breaker and Bronson Reed as a tag team. And that’s what we’ve needed is two guys together that are both at the main event level to be in team matches, so that it means something. And I get that The Usos are, by virtue of that, they were Tag Team Champions for so long, and they built up how they were allegedly the greatest team of all time because of that, et cetera.

I can’t look forward to Bronson Reed and Bron Breaker wrestling if they’re wrestling The Usos, because as over and popular as The Usos are, Brian, they’re the s**s, aren’t they? As an actual wrestling tag team, aren’t they kind of the s**s?.. Again, it’s two of them doing the same thing. It’s sort of like one of the Samoans wrestles the other one of the Samoans. It’s now we got two guys on one side doing the same.

The Usos vs. The Brons storyline advanced further on the September 29, 2025, episode of Monday Night Raw when Roman Reigns made a surprise return to help his cousins against the heels during a tornado tag team match with a no-disqualification stipulation.

Reigns took out both Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, enabling The Usos to score the victory. After the match, Reigns spoke privately with Jey Uso, asking him to step up and seemingly handing him the role of the leader in the family.
