WrestleMania 40 Match Left A Bad Taste In WWE Star’s Mouth
A top WWE star wants to run back one of their biggest matches.
After finding themselves at odds thanks to the constantly changing politics of The Bloodline, Jimmy, and Jey Uso squared off at WrestleMania 40.
While the match was a simple tale of brother vs. brother on paper, for many it failed to deliver in the ring. It was near-universally panned by fans, with critics very much underwhelmed.
Speaking back in April, Jey said he felt he and Jimmy had let people down with the match, confirming it was impacted by a “timing issue.”
WWE Star Jey Uso Looking For One More Shot
During an episode of Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenburg, Jey again hinted at his frustration with how the match played out, admitting it left a bad taste in his mouth.
“To be honest, I would like to run it back with my brother one more time. Like, I would like to because (it) left a little bad taste in my mouth with that one.
I just know what we can do. The fans have no damn clue. I know, me and my brother know, man. And hell yeah, we would have stole the show. It was just things happen. We’re all a team.”
At least for the time being The Usos are back on the same page and united with Roman Reigns. At Survivor Series the trio will team with Sami Zayn following another emotional reunion to battle Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed.
The identity of the fifth member of the team led by Reigns has yet to be revealed, despite significant speculation about Seth Rollins. Several pitches have been made to Rollins, but he’s insisted he’s not interested in getting involved, even though his longtime rival Reed has joined the fold.
