World Champion Wants To Face Roman Reigns 12 Years After Last Match

A World Champion outside of WWE wants to face Roman Reigns for the first time since they last faced off over a decade ago.

Thom Latimer is the current NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion, who has held that coveted championship for over 275 days after winning it in August 2024.

What many WWE fans may not know is that he worked for the company as Kenneth Cameron and was originally part of The Ascension tag team with Konnor. Latimer worked for WWE from late 2010 until November 2012, when he was charged with battery of a law enforcement officer and disorderly intoxication. He was also arrested for drunk driving in 2011.

During his WWE career, Latimer was part of the Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory, which later became NXT. While there, other wrestlers who went on to become big names, such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose (now known as Jon Moxley), Big E, and others, were also present. Latimer was also married to Charlotte Flair for a few years since she was in FCW as well.

Latimer had Roman Reigns on his mind when asked by Muscle Memory if there was anybody in WWE that Latimer would like to wrestle.

The thought of a WWE wrestler competing in the NWA against an NWA wrestler may seem farfetched. However, future WWE Hall of Famer Natalya recently faced Kenzie Paige in the NWA ring, so in today’s world of pro wrestling, anything can happen.

Roman Reigns Claims To Be Full Time In WWE Even When He’s Away

Even though he has only wrestled three matches in the first five months of 2025, Roman Reigns made it clear to the haters that he is still a full-time performer in WWE.

It’s funny because a lot of people call me a part-timer. A lot of people got a lot of things to say about my schedule. I’m no part-timer. I’m a full-time cash cow. Reigns recently turned 40 years old and will likely return to television soon, but there is no specific date being advertised for his return.
