Women’s World Championship Successfully Defended At WWE Survivor Series

WWE Women's World Championship

WWE Survivor Series 2025 has been an extremely entertaining PLE so far, with both of the first two matches being extremely well received by the fans in the arena. The PLE began with the first WarGames match of the night, which was won by the faces as Rhea Ripley’s team defeated Team Asuka.

The next match was sports entertainment at its peak and made for an extremely entertaining penultimate match for future WWE Hall of Famer John Cena. While the match was extremely entertaining, the result wasn’t what Cena would’ve been expecting as he lost the IC Championship to Dominik Mysterio.

The penultimate match of the night saw Nikki Bella challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship. The two were fast becoming friends on Monday Night RAW before Bella turned on the champion and set her sights on the title.

Vaquer started the match on the front foot but was quickly overpowered by the veteran wrestler. Nikki took control of the match quite quickly as she dominated the reigning champion. Stephanie tried to fight back with the Devil’s Kiss, but Nikki broke her momentum by using the ropes.

La Primera got back into the match and hit Bella with the SVB, the Stephanie Vaquer Bomb. She followed that up with a meteora into the corner, but Bella recovered quickly and hit her with the Rack Attack 2.0.

However, she pinned Vaquer too close to the ropes, and she used them to break her pin attempt. Vaquer then came back into the match and performed the Devil’s Kiss on the announce table.

She sent Nikki into the ring and performed another one in the middle of the ring. Stephanie then finished the match as she hit Nikki with a Corkscrew Splash from the top rope to get the win over her former friend.
