New Women’s Cup Match Made For AEW/NJPW Wrestle Dynasty
A huge multi-promotional match has been announced for AEW/NJPW Wrestle Dynasty.
January will see one of the biggest weekends in wrestling as New Japan holds Wrestle Kingdom 19 on January 4th, before joining forces with AEW, ROH, CMLL, and STARDOM the next night for Wrestle Dynasty. Both of the events will take place in Japan’s famed Tokyo Dome.
Now, New Japan has announced that the event will feature a Four-Way Match for the new International Women’s Cup. The participants will come from the four partner promotions, with each company holding a qualifying Four-Way Match of their own to determine who will move on to compete for the Cup.
The news comes days after New Japan announced that the IWGP Women’s Championship will be on the line at Wrestle Kingdom 19. The current champion, Mayu Iwatani is set to defend the title against AZM.

Kenny Omega Wants To Face NJPW Star At Wrestle Dynasty
Kenny Omega will compete at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th. The Best Bout Machine has been out of action for over a year after undergoing surgery for diverticulitis. In recent weeks, he has made several appearances for NJPW. After speaking to the crowd at Power Struggle, Omega was attacked backstage by current STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd.
Now, he has made it clear that for his comeback, he wants to embarrass Kidd in the Tokyo Dome in front of thousands of fans. During the interview, he also addressed the likelihood of Kidd ever competing in AEW.
