William Regal Screws WWE Champion As He Stoops To New Low (SPOILER)

William Regal might have been born naughty but he’s now stooped to a new low even for him as he screws one NXT Champion out of their title.

Lexis King is desperately trying to not be his father, the late Brian Pillman. When he joined WWE, King adopted the new name to separate himself from his dad and in recent times in NXT is fighting hard to be a good guy and not the unpredictable, loose cannon his father was.

In his fight to be his own man, William Regal has taken Lexis King under his wing and offered the benefit of his decades of experience. But it might not be the experience that King really needs as he looks to turn over a new leaf.

Lexis King has already refused Regal’s dreaded brass knucks as he challenged Regal’s own son Charlie Dempsey for the NXT Heritage Cup so now his lordship has taken matters into his own hands.

With the holiday season upon us, WWE taped the Christmas Eve edition of NXT one week ahead of time with a big title rematch taking place as Lexis King once again challenged Charlie Dempsey for his Heritage Cup.

During the match, William Regal bypassed Lexis King and instead, he knocked out his own son with his brass knucks to allow King to pick up the win and the NXT Heritage Cup.

The Christmas Eve show also resolves one major issue after an NXT title match ended in a huge controversy which led to Shawn Michaels being pushed by one star.
