Will Ospreay Given Valuable Advice By AEW Veteran

Will Ospreay AEW

A veteran AEW talent has spoken to Will Ospreay about taking care of his body when he’s in the ring.

Many people who watch pro wrestling today will name Will Ospreay as the best in-ring performer in the world because he can do just about anything in a match and make it look easy.

At the age of 31, Will Ospreay hopefully has many more years ahead of him as a wrestler, but he has to be smart about it. Ospreay has been known to take some risky bumps during matches and has suffered some major injuries because of it.

MVP is a veteran wrestler who is part of The Hurt Syndicate group with AEW Tag Team Champions Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin. MVP is also a veteran pro wrestler with over 20 years of experience in the ring, so it makes sense for him to advise younger talent.

During an appearance on The Huge Pop Podcast, MVP revealed what kind of advice he has given Ospreay.

“Me and Will talk. I told him, ‘That bump card is a real thing. I understand your exuberance and desire to go out there and do all these amazing things all the time, but you can’t. It’s not sustainable. It’s not physically sustainable.

Go out there and give them a great show, but hold back a little bit and save some of that stuff for the pay-per-view. Save some of that stuff for the important moments.’”

As he continued, MVP praised Ospreay’s attitude and the performer he has become.

“Will has such a great attitude. Despite his incredible talent, he really is a humble kid. I met him on the indies back when I was doing a UK tour years ago when he was just a skinny little kid. ‘This kid could actually be something.’ Throughout the years, we stayed in touch and I’m proud of his success.”

Will Ospreay Set For Cage Match At AEW Revolution

At the AEW Grand Slam Australia special, Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega teamed up as a dream team of sorts to defeat Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher of the Don Callis Family.

Later in the show, Will Ospreay challenged his former friend Kyle Fletcher to a Steel Cage Match at AEW Revolution on March 9th in Los Angeles. Fletcher has beaten Ospreay in the past, so Ospreay will be looking for some revenge and a big win.
