Will Ospreay To Disappear From AEW
Will Ospreay is set to go missing from AEW after being written off TV at All In Texas.
The Death Riders were set to go to any lengths at All In Texas to keep the AEW World Championship in its briefcase and with Jon Moxley.
The show kicked off with the Death Riders and Gabe Kidd challenging The Opps for the AEW Trios Championship. Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs retained the gold, but after the match, Samoa Joe was attacked and had his neck “Pillmanized” with a steel chair.
Samoa Joe is set to take some time away from AEW TV, and the attack was used to write him off, and it seems he’s not alone.
Will Ospreay Banged Up
In the night’s main event, Will Ospreay attempted to help Hangman Adam Page take the title from Moxley but suffered the same fate as Joe. Claudio Castagnoli stomped a steel chair placed around Ospreay’s neck, and the English star was carted out of Globe Life Stadium on a stretcher.
Fightful Select has reported that the attack was also intended to write Ospreay off TV as he has been working banged up. The report noted that Ospreay is expected to be out of action for over a month, but no exact timetable was given for his return.
