Will Ospreay Talks Having Creative Freedom In NJPW
Will Ospreay had a lot to discuss on a recent appearance on The Sessions with Renee Paquette.
Aside from once again expressing interest in wrestling Seth Rollins, Will Ospreay opened up about a lot of topics.
He disclosed that he loves the New Japan schedule because it gives him time to fly home and spend him with his family, which is very important to him.
He mentioned that “my heart belongs there [in New Japan]” and he gets paid “decently well” and as such it’s going to be a difficult conversation when his contract with them runs out, which, as it turns out, will be soon.
But most importantly, Will Ospreay discussed with Renee how he has all the creative freedom in the world over there.
“With New Japan, I kinda get to know whatever the f**k I want. Especially promos, I don’t feel I could do a promo without saying c*** (laughs). My IQ in wrestling is amazing, my IQ in real life is fucking dogs**t, love.
I’m doing me best. I’m learning to read, that’s kind of a good incentive there. I’m doing my best. I’ve got it good, I’ve hacked the Matrix, I don’t need to deal with anyone, and they kind of just go alright, here’s the match, do a good match. And I go okay, yes sir.”
