All Elite Wrestling has announced the signing of Will Ospreay, who appeared at AEW Full Gear as well.

It was announced in the days leading up to AEW Full Gear that the company had made a significant signing. There was a lot of speculation about who it was, but then it was leaked a few days before the show.

At AEW Full Gear in Los Angeles, Will Ospreay was introduced by Tony Schiavone as the company’s newest signing. When Ospreay got into the ring with Schiavone, he signed the contract and made his AEW signing official.

That also led to Ospreay doing a promo where he admitted that his AEW run was going to be delayed a bit. That’s because Ospreay’s New Japan Pro Wrestling contract expires in February, so he will likely work more shows for them before officially starting with AEW.

“It feels great! Listen up. I’m happy to be a part of the team, but I am not going to come in just yet.”

“When I was 22 years old, I was part of New Japan Pro Wrestling. I’m 30 years old now, so I’m begging all of you, let me finish up, and then I’ll be on the road to Revolution. And then I’ll be all yours, but more importantly, I am All Elite, bruv!”

“Mr. Tony Khan, do us a favor. Line up the best that you got, especially for Wembley Stadium, because I’m going to show ‘em all what elite really looks like, bruv!”

Tony Khan Welcomes Will Ospreay To AEW

As usual for AEW signings, the company’s CEO, Owner & GM Tony Khan made it official by announcing that Will Ospreay has signed with All Elite Wrestling.

Will Ospreay is familiar to AEW fans since he has wrestled several matches in the company. Earlier this year, Ospreay picked up a huge win over Kenny Omega at Forbidden Door and also beat Chris Jericho at AEW All In in London in his home country of England.
