Will Ospreay Grudge Match Confirmed For AEW Revolution

Will Ospreay will be in action at AEW Revolution.

At AEW Grand Slam Australia, the rivalry between Kenny Omega & Will Ospreay and the Don Callis Family continued with the pair grabbing a win over Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita.

After the match, Omega set his sights on Takeshita’s International Title while Ospreay called out Fletcher, challenging him to a Steel Cage Match at Revolution on March 9.

Although once close friends, Fletcher cost Ospreay the International Title at WrestleDream and beat him a month later at Full Gear. The score between the pair stands at 1-1 after Ospreay beat Fletcher in the semi-finals of the Continental Classic in December.

Will Ospreay Gets His Wish

On the February 22 edition of Collision, Fletcher and Don Callis were interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair. Not that Nair was allowed to get much of a word in. When she was finally allowed to ask about the challenge made by Ospreay at Grand Slam, Callis told her to stop gaslighting them.

Callis added that for all his athletic gifts, Ospreay lacks mentally, before Fletcher officially accepted the challenge.

Also on Collision, the lengthy rivalry between “Timeless” Toni Storm and Mariah May took another violent turn.

As the show began, May attacked Storm backstage before dragging her to the top of the ramp. In front of a stunned crowd, May landed a vicious headbutt and a Storm Zero before cradling her broken rival as a spotlight shone down.

The British star said that Storm had never been able to write a proper ending, so she was going to write one in her blood at Revolution.

Elsewhere, AEW officially confirmed the signing of “Speedball” Mike Bailey. In a short vignette, it was announced that Bailey is “coming soon.”
