Will Ospreay Brings Back AEW Title At All In

Will Ospreay

MJF and Will Ospreay do not like each other and now they have clashed for the AEW American Championship in Wembley Stadium at All In.

MJF and Will Ospreay recently clashed in a nearly hour-long classic on Dynamite that saw MJF capture the AEW International Championship from Ospreay.

Since then, The Salt of the Earth has re-branded that title as the American Championship as he leant into his patriotism ahead of a rematch against Ospreay at All In.

Since defeating Bryan Danielson at Dynasty in frightening circumstances Will Ospreay has refused to use his Tiger Driver ’91 move but MJF had no such problems as he took out an old rival of Ospreay’s with the move. But with tens of thousands of fans roaring him on to victory and with the slimy MJF willing to stoop to any depths, Will Ospreay did what he needed to do in Wembley Stadium.

Will Ospreay Wins AEW Gold

Ospreay and MJF went back and forth in another classic bout giving each other everything the other could handle. Will Ospreay inadvertently took out a cameraman with his Hidden Blade that was meant for MJF. MJF used that opportunity to use the AEW American Title belt to try and win the match but that failed before the referee was taken out.

MJF did not have his trusty usual weapon of the Dynamite Diamond ring as he complained that it had been stolen prior to the match. As Ospreay hesitated before a Tiger Driver attempt, MJF hit him low to regain the advantage. The past, however, came back to bite MJF as Daniel Garcia emerged to nail the American Champion before Will Ospreay finally hit the Tiger Driver to win the match and reclaim the title.

After the match, Christopher Daniels presented Ospreay with the AEW International Championship belt as the American Title is no more.
