Will Ospreay is feeling the effects of his first tour with AEW.

At AEW Revolution, Will Ospreay stepped into the ring for the first time as an AEW-contracted wrestler. The British star was coming off the back of arguably the biggest and most impressive year of his career in 2023, and he showed no signs of slowing down.

Will Ospreay’s match with Konosuke Takeshita was awarded *****3/4 stars by Dave Meltzer, while fans were quick to call it a match of the year candidate,

The former NJPW star followed up that win with another physical battle on Dynamite against Kyle Fletcher — which he also won.

Posting on social media, Ospreay said he was heading home happy if a little banged up.

And thus my first tour under the @AEW banner has come to an end.

Thank you so much for such an overwhelming response.

To everyone backstage thank you so much for allowing into the home you’ve built, I will cherish this place & treat it as my own.

I’m banged up bad but my foot is still on the gas pedal.

But now I’m gonna get on this flight home to my beautiful Mrs & step son and enjoy the fruits of my labour.

I believe in AEW.
