How Will Ospreay Almost Died After A Wild Night On Red Wine

Will Ospreay has revealed he almost died after a wild night in Japan that featured red wine and falling asleep in the bath.

Will Ospreay will be a huge part of All In at Wembley Stadium when he challenges MJF for the AEW American Championship. MJF defeated Ospreay for what was then called the International Title in a near-hour-long classic but Ospreay is hoping to regain the gold in his home country.

Ahead of that huge show, Will Ospreay appeared on the Off Menu podcast where he explained why is no fan of red wine after a night out went very wrong during his time in Japan:

Red wine I can’t do, I was vomiting all night, I nearly died from red wine. I was out in Japan, all the boys having a couple of drinks. This sponsor was plying me with red wine all the time. My boy Henare who’s over in Japan right now took me home, put me in my hotel room. I ran myself a bath, fell asleep in the bath, had to pay a two grand bill because all the water spilled out into the lobby. I woke up at 4am in the morning, freezing like “why the f*ck is it cold in here?!” It was everywhere. So red wine’s a no go.

Will Ospreay Picks Dream Meal

During his appearance on the show, Will Ospreay also picked the menu for his dream meal which featured poppadoms with mango chutney, garlic bread, A5 Japanese beef, sweet potato mash, and a squidgy brownie with ice cream all washed down with a double vodka and Coke zero.
