Will Ospreay Faces Huge AEW Star At Summer Blockbuster
Will Ospreay isn’t going to All In Texas to challenge for the AEW World Title, but now he’s booked a headline match for the company’s Summer Blockbuster.
At Double Or Nothing, Hangman Adam Page defeated Will Ospreay in the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament to book an AEW World Championship match with Jon Moxley at All In Texas. Despite the loss, Ospreay has gotten behind Page as he hopes anyone can defeat Moxley and bring the title belt back out of the briefcase, closely guarded by the Death Riders.
Ospreay has urged others to do the same, but his recent confrontation with Swerve Strickland over the issue saw Strickland fail to support his old, hated rival.
Will Ospreay Gets Swerve Strickland
At AEW Fyter Fest, Will Ospreay noted how heated things have become between himself and Strickland over the issue, but still wants them to put the past behind them for the greater good of winning the AEW World Title and then go back to killing each other. Ospreay then wondered aloud if Strickland could get in the way of getting the title from Moxley and challenged him to a match that will take place, not at All In Texas, but at AEW’s Summer Blockbuster on June 11th.

Strickland and Ospreay did battle once before in AEW at 2024’s Forbidden Door when Strickland defeated the English star to retain the AEW World Championship.
