Will Ospreay Wants AEW Dream Match With Wrestling Legend
Will Ospreay wants to test one of pro wrestling’s legends.
Since signing with AEW, Will Ospreay has only added to his reputation as one of the very best wrestlers in the world. His clashes with the likes of PAC, Bryan Danielson, and Konosuke Takeshita remain favourites with fans and he’s just getting started.
In the months after joining the company, Ospreay has made no secret of his desire to face Adam Copeland, as they’re two very different performers.
Speaking in a new interview with Bleacher Report’s Chris Mueller, Ospreay again singled out Copeland who is currently out of action with a broken leg.
“Adam Copeland is a big one, prior to his injury, he was performing at a level I’ve never seen him perform at. He fits in with what the AEW style is. To have him around as a real good coach backstage as well, he’s helped out so many of us with advice. I really do like his presence and I really do think his heart is in AEW. I want to test him as much as I want him to test me.”
Will Ospreay To Face Familiar Rival
It’s been announced that Will Ospreay will put his International Title on the line against Ricochet on the October 2nd edition of Dynamite. The episode will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the show.
Ospreay and Ricochet have a lengthy history stretching back the best part of a decade. The former WWE star is undefeated in singles matches since signing with AEW in August, quickly notching up four wins.
Meanwhile, it’s been confirmed that Britt Baker will return to action on the show.
