Why Triple H Really Booked WWE WrestleMania Main Event

Triple H WWE

Triple H has explained his reasoning for one of WrestleMania’s main events as he hints that a story in WWE is just beginning on the grandest stage of them all.

Seth Rollins hates Roman Reigns. Seth Rollins really hates CM Punk. Roman Reigns hates Seth Rollins. Roman Reigns really hates that CM Punk likes Paul Heyman. CM Punk hates that Paul Heyman is with Roman Reigns. CM Punk really hates Seth Rollins. Paul Heyman loves CM Punk and Roman Reigns. Paul Heyman is fearful of Seth Rollins. Nobody really believes Heyman can be trusted. And all of that is why a triple threat match was made by Triple H for night one of WrestleMania 41.

But this storyline has not been without its critics, with some believing WWE is shoehorning one of these stars into this feud when a one-on-one match might be the way to go. But Triple H isn’t buying that.

Triple H Just Getting Started With 3 Top WWE Stars

Speaking in a WWE interview ahead of WrestleMania 41, Triple H explained exactly why he’s booked a triple threat main event and teases that fans have a whole lot more to see from Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk:

You can make the argument, ‘But you could have gotten a single with Seth and Roman. You could have got a single with Seth and Punk. You could have got Roman and Punk.’

There’s so much individual stuff. There is. But there’s also so much collective stuff, that I believe you can get this collective stuff off the table and then you haven’t even nicked the surface yet of where this goes between the three guys, one at a time.

Sometimes when you get to WrestleMania, people think that should be the definitive end. Well, maybe we’re just giving you the definitive beginning. Maybe we’re just trying to figure out how to navigate this to get to WrestleMania to START a story that takes you to places that you haven’t thought of yet.

Night two of WrestleMania 4 will be headlined by John Cena challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
