Why Tiffany Stratton Didn’t Want To Turn Babyface In WWE
WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has explained why she never wanted to be a good guy in the company.
Tiffany Stratton burst onto the scene in NXT as something of a spoiled brat. Stratton was “Daddy’s little princess” for the early part of that run, but when she dropped that aspect of her character, success soon followed.
Stratton captured the NXT Women’s Championship in 2023 before graduating to the WWE main roster. Success has been quick to come for her on SmackDown, as well as she captured the Money In The Bank briefcase in 2024. Stratton cashed in that contract to win the WWE Women’s Championship from her supposed friend Nia Jax in early 2025.
Tiffany Stratton Finds Life As A WWE Babyface Tough
Immediately after that win, Stratton cemented her babyface turn in the company, with fans choosing to cheer her as they took her to their heart. But that wasn’t something Stratton was too thrilled about.
Speaking on the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Tiffany Stratton explained why being a heel is much easier for her, as she also noted she’s still learning how to be an effective babyface:
I think being a heel is 10 times easier than being a baby. You can mess up and you can fall on your butt and, you know, like, that’s totally fine as a heel. However, as a baby face, if you do that, the crowd could turn on you, or you could get booed, and, you know, you’re supposed to be like the face of the company.
I feel like I was a heel right off the bat. So that’s why it comes so easy to me. And you know, I’m still learning to be a babyface and be likeable and not have so much stink on what I say in my promos.
I never changed anything. I just started getting cheered.
