Why Shouldn’t AJ Lee Shockingly Turn On CM Punk After WWE Comeback
AJ Lee is supposed to return to WWE at Wrestlepalooza.
The report states that she will return at the premium live event and team up with CM Punk against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
Now, fans are invested in this return. If WWE fails to bring her back, there’s only Rhea Ripley who can save the day.
AJ Lee betraying CM Punk will be overbooking
Lee and Punk coming together against WWE’s power couple will have fans flocking to Wrestlepalooza. However, the global juggernaut also has to ensure the story after Wrestlepalooza remains interesting.
One of the ways to keep a story going is betrayal. However, Konnan from the K100 team believes that if the global juggernaut has AJ Lee betray CM Punk, it would just be overbooking and doesn’t make sense at all.
It’s very easy. The chick [Becky Lynch] slapped the s**t out of him [CM Punk]. They’re going to Chicago next week. He said she’s gonna rue doing that, so they’re setting it up perfectly. It’s there organically. Why would you wanna swerve just for the sake of swerving? That’s called overproducing, overbooking. There’s no reason to do it, really.
It has already been reported that WWE has more plans for AJ Lee than just a one-off affair at Wrestlepalooza.
CM Punk is coming to WWE SmackDown tonight, and since it’s in Chicago, fans are hoping that The Best in the World introduces the returning AJ Lee as well!
