Why Seth Rollins Won’t Attack AJ Lee Despite Being Heel

AJ Lee Seth Rollins WWE RAW

Seth Rollins is a powerful heel, and he just got slapped by AJ Lee.

No one slaps the World Heavyweight Champion, the leader of The Vision, the man who is going to revolutionize WWE, and gets away with it. However, the former WWE Divas Champion did get away with slapping him.

Now, CM Punk has been slapped by Becky Lynch as well. But, The Best in the World has always maintained that he does not raise hands on women. Does The Visionary have the same principle?

Seth Rollins’ character will not stoop to that level

On Notsam Wrestling, Sam Roberts answered a fan question about whether or not The Visionary will reach a point where he physically hits AJ Lee.

The podcaster explained that Rollins will not be that character, and he is motivated by power. Unlike Baron Corbin, who had nothing redeemable about himself.

I think it’s like, you know, I don’t know what kind of heel is Seth Rollins. I just don’t think that it would add to the Seth Rollins character. I don’t think it’s in the Seth Rollins character. I think that the idea of doing that, like when Baron Corbin hit the End of Days on Becky Lynch, it was to be like there is nothing redeeming about Baron Corbin. He’s the lowest of the low, the worst of the worst. He’s a scum. And I don’t think that that’s Seth Rollins’ character.

I think that Seth Rollins is a heel because he’s motivated by power, but he can justify his own actions. I think that’s a different thing than being like, I’m a heel because I’m the lowest of the low. If that’s a direction Seth wants to go in, then yeah, but I just don’t think that the Seth Rollins character, I don’t believe that the Seth Rollins character would go there.
