Why Ronda Rousey Would Perfectly Fit The TKO Era Of WWE
Ronda Rousey has come under fire for her comments about how WWE handled her match against Alexa Bliss in 2018.
She appeared on The Lapsed Fan podcast and claimed that the decision to have Bliss fight her stemmed from Alexa Bliss selling more merchandise rather than storylines or athleticism.
Of course, her comments weren’t taken lightly.
Ronda Rousey will benefit from the limited schedule
On The Stevie Richards Show, it was claimed that Ronda Rousey started reacting when she realized being on the road was an absolute grind. However, under TKO, she would have been better off due to the limited appearances and matches.
Sorry, man. Time goes by quick. That was an excellent match [mixed-tag team match at WrestleMania 34]. But by that point, I think she started to see this. This is a grind. This is definitely a grind. Then the second time she had a family. So right there, that’s a tough thing. And I got, you know, right there, it’s tough for any mom to leave her kid and go to work every day and come home.
But she was going on the road. And I think after the bloom came off the roads, as Vince McMahon would say, and she was just another worker, she had to kind of, I guess, reearn the top spot or keep the top spot from improving and learning. And she didn’t see herself that way. I think she would have done during this era, the TKO era, I think she would do great because she would have limited reps, limited matches, limited appearances, and it would take longer for whatever unhappiness in her to fester up.
It is unlikely that The Baddest Women on the Planet will return to WWE.
