Why Roman Reigns Allegedly Can’t Get Beat Up For A Living Anymore

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has been officially added to the SummerSlam 2025 match card.

OTC1 will team up with Jey Uso and take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in a tag team match.

Ideally, he should have had a match against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam, but the Visionary is currently out of action owing to an injury.

Former WWE writer explains why Roman Reigns does not need to get beat up anymore

The Tribal Chief has one of the most impressive resumes in WWE. Currently, he is out to avenge himself against Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins.

The WWE Hall of Famer betrayed him at WrestleMania 41 and joined hands with The Visionary, who is possibly one of Reigns’ biggest rivals.

Despite not having any world championship match coming up, OTC1 managed to retain his extreme popularity with the fans, especially now that he is a babyface.

At present, he seems to have done all that one can in WWE, but of course, he isn’t close to retirement. Roman Reigns has revealed that he will be with WWE for a year or two more after the expiry of his current contract.

Former WWE writer, Freddie Prinze Jr. claimed that given Reigns is making movies, he need not get beat up anymore. Keeping that in mind, the global juggernaut might not be able to do many more stories revolving around him.

I don’t know how much story they can do with him because he’s going to be making movies, man. He’s going to not have to get beat up for a living anymore. He can just pretend to get beat up.

Roman Reigns will likely have a final match with Seth Rollins before he hangs up his boots.
