Why Missing AEW Star Isn’t Coming Back
One AEW star thinks their former tag team partner will never return to the company.
Who can survive the Best Wrestler Alive? It turns out everyone can. Max Caster has not had much in-ring success since abandoning his partner in The Acclaimed Anthony Bowens as well as Billy Gunn. Caster has held a series of invitational matches where the likes of Rush, Adam Page, Brody King, Jay White, Konosuke Takeshita, and HOOK have all defeated him easily.
Before the latest contest with HOOK on the Slam Dunk Saturday edition of Collision, Max Caster addressed his former tag team partner as the crowd chanted for Anthony Bowens. Caster said:
I’ve got some news for you guys. He ain’t here, and he ain’t coming back, because I ran his ass out of AEW.

When Was Anthony Bowens Last Seen In AEW?
Anthony Bowens has not competed in AEW since the New Year’s Day edition of Dynamite where The Acclaimed lost to The Hurt Syndicate in a tag team match. Just over two weeks later The Acclaimed finally split up on Collision when Bowens had enough of Caster’s self-centred actions and called his partner an “arrogant edge lord piece of sh*t.”
Billy Gunn initially tried to calm things between both men but Caster turned nasty on him leading to both he and Bowens walking out on the self-styled Best Wrestler Alive.
