Why LA Knight Doesn’t Want Celebrities Clogging Up WWE
Celebrities and WWE go hand in hand but now LA Knight has explained why he doesn’t like to see many of them actually get in the ring.
Celebrities in WWE was a topic back in the spotlight at the Royal Rumble as IShowSpeed was sent into the Rumble match by Triple H after Akira Tozawa was taken out by Carmelo Hayes.
Speed was knocked senseless with a vicious spear from Bron Breakker that almost broke him in half. Breakker then threw Speed to the outside where he was caught by Otis. Rather than spare him from elimination, Otis dumped Speed on the announce table to only add to his woe.
Logan Paul has made the crossover from celebrity to regular WWE star while Bad Bunny also caused a sensation when he laced up his boots. But LA Knight doesn’t want to see too many famous faces getting in the ring.
LA Knight Thinks Logan Paul Still Has A Long Way To Go
Speaking on the Battleground podcast, LA Knight credited Paul and Bunny with how well they’ve done but cautions pro wrestling is not for everyone:
WrestleMania 27 was brought up which saw Jersey Shore star Snooki compete. For LA Knight that was a perfect example of what shouldn’t happen:
That’s one of the great examples. No offence to my sweet Snooki out there never met her in my life, but look, that’s another example of like, I understand the idea, I understand the reasoning, we’re going cross-promotion, but some people just don’t belong in a ring if I’m honest. Even with Bad Bunny and Logan Paul, as great as they are they still have a long way to go.
LA Knight was at the centre of a Royal Rumble row after Drew McIntyre stormed out of the building following a mistimed spot that left many WWE stars unhappy.
