Why Jey Uso Won’t Win WWE King Of The Ring
Jey Uso is in the final four of the WWE King of the Ring tournament, but it seems there’s a major reason some people think Uso won’t win the crown.
Jey Uso lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther just two months after he won the gold from The Ring General at WrestleMania 41.
Looking to bounce back from that disappointment, Uso joined the field for King of the Ring, with the winner of the tournament earning a world title shot at WrestleMania. Uso picked up a huge win in a four-way match on Raw to make it to the semi-final, where he will face Cody Rhodes.
Jey Uso Not Expected To Win King Of The Ring
Speaking on NotSam Wrestling, WWE broadcaster Sam Roberts explained why the stipulation of the winner of the King of the Ring getting a title shot at SummerSlam rules Uso out of wearing the crown:
I don’t see Jey Uso vs. Gunther as your SummerSlam World Title match. I just don’t see another Jey Uso vs. Gunther match happening, especially at SummerSlam. So, that’s why I don’t see Uso winning the King of the Ring tournament.
