Why CM Punk Missed WWE RAW Revealed
CM Punk missed his second consecutive WWE RAW taping.
On the December 8 show of the red brand, the World Heavyweight Champion was nowhere to be seen.
During last week’s taping, it was revealed by the commentators that Punk had suffered an injury during Survivor Series: WarGames, keeping him on the sidelines for that night.
Not long after, Punk updated his social media followers about the passing of his dog, Larry.
However, he missed the latest episode due to neither of the above reasons.
As reported by PWInsider Elite, CM Punk has been busy filming scenes for the upcoming Netflix film, The Bodyguard.
Based on a 2022 novel by Katherine Center, the story is about a no-nonsense bodyguard, Doghouse, who is assigned to protect a charming action star over the holidays.
Bron Breakker Makes Things Personal With CM Punk On WWE RAW
Bron Breakker is on a mission to become the next WWE Champion, with only CM Punk standing in his way.
On last week’s RAW, the 28-year-old offered a stern warning to the veteran superstar. It was subsequently announced that the two would square off on January 5, 2026, which commemorates the 1st anniversary of the brand’s Netflix debut.
This week, though, Breakker made things personal.
Breakker first questioned the intention behind Punk exhibiting a much friendlier persona since returning to the company in 2023.
In doing so, he threatened to beat The Second City Saint easily, instead demanding the rebellious man from the early 2010s. Punk had famously held the WWE title at the time for 434 days.
Breakker further stated that if he did not get that version of CM Punk, not only would he destroy him, but also take his wife, AJ Lee.
The final jab is believed to reignite the 47-year-old’s spark, which Breakker claims is lost.
Meanwhile, Punk’s return date continues to remain a mystery.
