Who Was The Mystery Masked Man On WWE Raw?
El Grande Americano might have made his presence felt in WWE in recent months, but now another mystery masked man has arrived.
For months now, El Grande Americano has made his presence felt in WWE, but the luchador tried to keep his true identity under wraps. However, nobody was fooled in the slightest, and it was obvious that Chad Gable was the man under the red, white, and blue mask.
Gable denied being the company’s latest lucha star, despite El Grande Americano even wrestling in boots bearing the initials “CG.” However, he did unwittingly confess to being the masked star during a recent outing to a baseball game.
Chad Gable has been out of action with an injury in recent weeks, but El Grande Americano has continued on, leading to some on-screen confusion. Except there is no confusion with fans, as it is now clearly Ludwig Kaiser portraying the luchador. But now there’s another mystery masked star on WWE Raw.
Masked Man Joins El Grande Americano On WWE Raw
On the July 28th edition of Raw, LWO members Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro challenged The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for the World Tag Team Championship. During the match, El Grande Americano – Kaiser – appeared to attack the LWO. But then a different masked man appeared to help The Judgment Day retain their gold.
Although it was not confirmed on TV, fans were quick to notice the second masked man was clearly Pete Dunne. Dunne last appeared as himself on the 29th of May edition of Main Event, where he teamed with Tyler Bate to defeat A-Town Down Under.
