When WWE Fans Could See Liv Morgan Again

Liv Morgan WWE

Liv Morgan is out of WWE, taking her first steps into Hollywood, but now it’s been revealed when the tag team champion might be back in the ring.

On the April 28 edition of Raw, Liv Morgan revealed she needed to take time away from WWE TV as she had landed a role in a “big Hollywood movie.” The details of what that movie is have now been revealed.

Deadline reported that Takashi Miike is set to direct Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, which will see Liv Morgan share the screen with Shun Oguri and Lily James. Morgan is slated to play a politician’s daughter who goes missing in Tokyo, while Lily James is the FBI agent sent to Japan to lead the investigation into her whereabouts.

According to a follow-up report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there are “no plans” for Morgan and on-screen partner Raquel Rodriguez to be stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, hinting that Morgan’s absence would not be for long.

Liv Morgan Not Gone For Long

Now, Fightful Select has issued a new report indicating when Liv Morgan could be in front of WWE fans once again. It is noted that as of now, the wrap date for the movie is May 16, with Morgan set to return to the US on May 17. That doesn’t confirm when she’ll be back on WWE TV, but she will be back in the country when Raw takes place on May 19 in Greenville, South Carolina.
