When Randy Orton Will Be Making WWE Return

Randy Orton

Randy Orton was put on the injured list by Kevin Owens but now it seems WWE fans won’t have to wait too long for his return.

At Crown Jewel, Kevin Owens was meant to face Randy Orton after also attacking the veteran, but the match never got started. KO attacked Orton during his entrance, battering him with a chair. But Orton fought back and even hit Adam Pearce with an RKO before finally being left beaten by Owens after a huge elbow drop.

Fast forward to the November 8th episode of SmackDown, and it was Orton who was determined to get revenge on Owens. This sparked yet another brawl between the pair, but this time it came to an end with Owens hitting Orton with a Piledriver — the move has been banned in WWE for the best part of two decades.

Randy Orton was then taken out of the arena on a stretcher and transported to the hospital. WWE gave a medical update on Randy Orton with no indication of when he might be back in action. But it seems fans won’t have to wait too long to see The Viper again.

Randy Orton Returning Soon To WWE

During a Live Q&A with WrestleVotes on Backstage Pass, Randy Orton’s status came up and it seems he’ll be back in action by one of WWE’s biggest shows of the year:

By the Royal Rumble, you know, if not on February 1st, it’ll be beforehand. So yeah, very soon.

Orton might have his sights set on winning the men’s Royal Rumble for a third time but he’s also sure to have an eye on Cody Rhodes defending his Undisputed WWE Championship at the event against Kevin Owens in a ladder match.
