When Is Brock Lesnar Returning To WWE?
Brock Lesnar won’t be back in the ring in 2023.
On October 23rd it was reported that Lesnar won’t be appearing at Crown Jewel, and hasn’t been in the “creative mix” for the show. This will be the first time Lesnar hasn’t appeared at a WWE Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia.
It’s now been reported that Lesnar was never considered for the event, and there are no plans for him to wrestle again in 2023.
Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Lesnar won’t be back with WWE until Royal Rumble season, and his schedule was agreed upon months in advance.
“This is the first Saudi show without Lesnar. When Lesnar lost to Rhodes clean at SummerSlam, he did so in that manner because at the time the plan was for him not to return until the Rumble season or the TV’s leading to that show. It was all decided months ago.”
Brock Lesnar And Roman Reigns To Miss Survivor Series
The update on Lesnar comes after it was reported that Roman Reigns isn’t currently scheduled to appear at Survivor Series. The Tribal Chief has worked a reduced schedule for much of his time heading up The Bloodline but usually appears at WWE’s traditional “Big Four” Premium Live Events.
Reigns is set to be in action at Crown Jewel, where he’ll defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against LA Knight. The show on November 4th will also feature Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Rhea Ripley, Logan Paul, and more.
