Wheeler Yuta Breaks Cover After Heartbreaking AEW Betrayal

Bryan Danielson’s full-time wrestling career is over and now the man behind one of the most heart-breaking turns in AEW history has broken their silence.

When Bryan Danielson won the AEW World Title from Swerve Strickland at All In, the American Dragon’s career was already on borrowed time. Danielson made clear that when he lost the title, his illustrious full-time wrestling career would be over, and at WrestleDream, the worst happened.

Jon Moxley defeated Danielson for the AEW World Title in Danielson’s home state of Washington and if that wasn’t bad enough the Blackpool Comba Club looked to put a permanent end to him. As the group swarmed, Wheeler Yuta and Darby Allin came to Bryan Danielson’s aid but with Danielson now out of the picture, Yuta’s loyalty swung back to the BCC and he nailed Aliin with a Busaiku Knee.

Jon Moxley then handed Yuta a plastic bag to attempt to suffocate Danielson with before security and many stars from the AEW locker room attempted to come to his aid.

Taking to social media, Wheeler Yuta has shared a photo of him being handed the plastic bag by Jon Moxley with the caption “sorry, bryan” – a sentiment that might be considered too little, too late.

Jon Moxley is being advertised for the 16th of October edition of Dynamite and with a united Blackpool Combat Club behind the new AEW World Champion, their mission could be closer than ever to being accomplished.
