What WWE Has Planned For Alexa Bliss After Surprise Return

Alexa Bliss WWE

Alexa Bliss is back in WWE after two years away and now the company’s creative plans for Bliss now she’s back have been revealed.

The last time Bliss had been seen on WWE television was all the way back at the 2023 Royal Rumble where she lost to Bianca Belair in a match for the Raw Women’s Title. Two months later, Alexa Bliss revealed a skin cancer diagnosis and in November 2023, she gave birth to her first child.

As her absence continued, many questions had been raised about her future in the company and these were amplified when it was reported Alexa Bliss was in a contract dispute with WWE. However, that dispute was soon ended.

A deal was done and Alexa Bliss made her shock return to WWE at the Royal Rumble. Bliss made her entry at number 21 sending the crowd in Indianapolis into raptures. Michael Cole alluded to the online rumours, saying that he thought she wasn’t coming back. Bliss carried her doll Lilly to the ring with her suggesting she would continue with the same presentation she was last seen with.

Alexa Bliss Sticking With WWE Raw

PWInsider has now reported that moving forward Alexa Bliss will be on the Raw brand. This might come as a surprise to some as many expected her to have an affiliation with the Wyatt Sicks when she returned to WWE. Bliss had an on-screen partnership with Bray Wyatt leading to her own supernatural presentation before Bray Wyatt sadly passed away in August 2023.

The Wyatt Sicks have been moved to SmackDown during the transfer window and no members of that group appeared at the Royal Rumble.
