What The Young Bucks Have Really Been Doing In AEW Absence
The Young Bucks have re-emerged after walking out of AEW but what have the EVPs been up to with all of their time working from home?
Back in October, Private Party defeated The Young Bucks to become AEW World Tag Team Champions for the very first time. Matthew and Nicholas Jackson sportingly handed over the title belts to the new champions but then showed their true colours later in the night.
The Young Bucks were later seen leaving the arena noting that the working environment was too chaotic and they’d be working from home. With the Jacksons gone, Jon Moxley and his Death Riders attacked Brandon Cutler, with Claudio Castagnoli smashing Cutler’s hand with a hammer.
The Young Bucks will be back in the ring at Wrestle Dynasty in the Tokyo Dome on January 5th but they’ve made a surprise return to New Japan Pro Wrestling before then.
At NJPW Strong Style Evolved, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson attacked Hiromu Takahashi, Yota Tsuji, and Shingo Takagi as they were brawling with Konosuke Takeshita and The Elite’s Jack Perry. The Bucks then helped Perry to his feet but the former TNT Champion looked confused that they were there.
Jack Perry Wants To Know Where The Young Bucks Have Been
In a promo that aired on social media after the show, The Bucks interrupted Jack Perry’s promo and while Perry bemoaned the fact that he’d been tied to his bus and lost the TNT Title in their absence, Matthew Jackson protested that he’s been swamped with homework and doing the dishes.

Whatever the excuses, it seems all is not well in The Elite and that could mean more bad news for AEW as they try to fight off the effects of the Death Riders.
