What Happened When Ex-WWE Star Clashed With Ricochet

A former WWE star few would have expected to see in AEW made their debut for the company as they sought revenge on Ricochet.

A special Thursday night Collision saw Ricochet in action against Angelico, with the famously bald star picking up the win. A former WWE star was watching on, however, and it’s perhaps not one anyone ever expected to see in an AEW ring.

Before the show, former WWE star Zach Gowen was introduced to the crowd in his home state of Michigan, and he was watching on keenly from ringside as Ricochet picked up his victory.

After the match, Ricochet began taunting security and even started to cut one of the guards’ hair. Gowen jumped the barricade to make the save, but Ricochet hit him with the Spirit Gun and stole his prosthetic leg, leaving Gowen lying in the ring.

Ricochet Gets The Best Of Zach Gowen

At Dynamite Beach Break, Zach Gowen got his chance at revenge as he made his AEW debut against Ricochet. Richochet entered holding Gowen’s prosthetic leg that he had stolen from him the prior week. Despite Gowen putting up his best efforts, eventually AEW’s resident bald man put him away with a Spirit Gun.

After the match, Ricochet nailed another Spirit Gun and a brutal punt kick to Gowen before Mark Briscoe made the save and chased the hated star away.
