What Happened When AEW Dynamite Went Off The Air

Kenny Omega AEW

After a shocking night of action on Dynamite which saw Kenny Omega lose in heartbreaking fashion to Jon Moxley in a cage match, footage has emerged of what happened after the show went off the air.

On Dynamite in Detroit, Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega squared off in a brutal steel cage match that was littered with barbed wire, glass, and the BCC’s trusty screwdriver. However, the match appeared to be nearing its end when Omega hoisted Moxley up for the One-Winged Angel only for Don Callis to attack his long-time associate with the screwdriver.

Callis watched as Omega crawled to his knees but rather than finish him off with another strike, he crouched beside him and whispered a message into Omega’s ear, and kissed him on the head before leaving.

In a clip shared on social media, Kenny Omega is seen being helped out of the ring by The Young Bucks indicating where the former AEW Tag Team Champions’ loyalties lie despite Don Callis’ betrayal.

Bryan Danielson – who had been on commentary for the match – expressed his disbelief at Callis’ actions so it is not believed that the turncoat is in cahoots with the BCC but the issues between Danielson’s group and The Elite are sure to continue ahead of AEW’s next pay-per-view, Double Or Nothing.
