What Did Saraya Admit To Lying To WWE About

Saraya has never shied away from talking about her past struggles.

It’s refreshing to see that she has maintained that to this day, despite her latest revelation being good enough to cause a furor.

The former AEW star recently caught up with internet personality Denise Salcedo and played a game of Never Have I Ever.

Some of the questions she answered included her dating life and life in professional wrestling.

Early on, she was asked about lying to her boss, to which she agreed. Saraya also revealed the lie came after failing a drug test.

Yeah, I did it publicly. I’m talking about my drugs and stuff like that, remember that? I got f***ing…I got publicly outed for another drug test and I was like, uh, it was, it was a dental surgery, and it wasn’t. I did cocaine. I f***ed up, I lied, but it’s okay.

The 32-year-old laughed it off, moving on to the next question.

The former WWE Divas Champion joined the Stamford-based company in 2011. She retired in 2018 due to neck injuries, but later returned and worked in non-wrestling roles till 2022.

Saraya Teases WWE Return

After leaving WWE, Saraya joined AEW in September 2022 and was there till March 2025.

She won her first and only world title in August 2023, a reign which lasted 44 days. She is currently not signed to any wrestling promotion.

That said, WWE is hosting its second edition of Evolution PLE on July 13 in Atlanta, Georgia. The all-women’s event will feature female talents from the current roster and the past.

Saraya recently took to X to tease her return to her old job.

While there have been no official reports of her return, it will be a nice surprise considering how popular she was among the members of the WWE Universe.
