What CM Punk Told Fans At WWE Raw
CM Punk might be out of action in the ring but it seems the star still has plenty to say as he addressed WWE fans after Raw.
Monday Night Raw saw Cody Rhodes pinned for the first time since WrestleMania 39 as he hit a major stumbling block on his way to the main event of WrestleMania 40 where he will once again challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship.
The final female star qualified for the Elimination Chamber on the show as well joining Tiffany Stratton, Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Naomi, and Liv Morgan in the demonic structure when it heads to Australia.
The night’s main event saw Jey Uso challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship but ultimately The Ring General retained his gold with more than a little help from Jimmy Uso.
CM Punk Tells WWE Fans What’s On His Mind
After Raw went off the air, CM Punk came to the ring and embraced Uso before telling the fans in attendance that the next time he’s in town he’ll have his working boots on:
It is not easy sitting backstage, watching the show, knowing that Anaheim showed up 11,000 strong, and y’all kept it hot all night long. Three hours, countless superstars, awesome matches.
I had to come out here and feel this myself, and to let you all know, this is a bump in the road. I promise you that next time we are in Anaheim, I will be here, and I will have my boots on.
