R-Truth’s actions last week sent the WWE Universe into a frenzy. The former 24/7 Champion let the world know that the company decided not to renew his contract and release him. The fans retaliated by taking to social media and hijacking the WWE shows with “We want Truth” chants.

It looked like John Cena had the match won for his team when he hit Cody Rhodes with the WWE Championship. While Cena was looking to capitalize on the moment, a man dressed in black got into the ring and mauled the seventeen-time champion. The man later revealed himself as R-Truth before heading back into the audience. The fans couldn’t stay calm about it and took to social media to commemorate the moment. One fan called it a work, to which R-Truth replied, saying that it wasn’t.
