Was Charlotte Flair Victim Of Legitimate Conspiracy In WWE
Charlotte Flair may have fallen victim to a conspiracy involving Alexa Bliss during last Friday’s episode of SmackDown, according to a wrestling veteran.
The Queen squared off with Bliss, Alba Fyre, and Candice LeRae in a first-round Queen of the Ring qualifier.
In the match’s final moments, Flair locked Fyre in the Figure-8, while Bliss delivered a Sister Abigail to LeRae.
Despite the Secret Hervice member tapping out to The Queen, the referee had already counted to three, awarding the Five Feet of Fury the victory.
Speaking on The Coach & Bro Show, former WWE head writer Vince Russo proposed two different scenarios behind that finish: either Fyre unintentionally messed up the spot by mistiming her tap, or Flair was a victim of a “scr*wjob.”
So, either Fyre messed up and missed the queue or they scr*wed Charlotte. Coach, again, I look at everything as a writer perspective. You know, Coach, they do everything to fill time. You’ve got another week. You’ve got more porgramming if Alexa Bliss and Charlotte have a match to determine that. That’s a main event. That’s a main event on the show. It was supposed to be a double one, two, three and the tap out at the same time. So, either she messed up or everyone was in on it except Charlotte.
The wrestling veteran urged fans to re-watch the finish of the match, claiming there was never a replay, the announcers had to explain what happened, and the camera angle failed to capture Fyre’s alleged late tap-out.
Go back and watch it. There was never a replay, the announcers had to tell us what happened, the way it was shot, you never saw her tap late. Look at the expression on Charlotte’s face and Alexa Bliss’ face and then you tell me. [31:51 onwards]
Charlotte Flair Is Allegedly Unhappy With Backstage Treatment In WWE
Many fans heavily criticized WWE for booking Charlotte Flair to win the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble upon her comeback from injury. However, The Queen has since suffered several failures in the ring.
While analyzing the 14-time world champion’s Triple Threat match against Guilia and Zelina Vega on his Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast, the wrestling veteran predicted that Flair was unhappy with how she was treated backstage.
To me, Charlotte Flair is kinda pi**ed off and if she doesn’t register it [Gulia’s signature move], they’re not telling her not to register it. I think or the agent wouldn’t be, but I think she’s just doing that on her own. I think she’s pi**ed off because she’s not getting treated like, and I may be wrong, but she’s not getting treated like royalty and that’s pissing her off.
