How WWE Superstars Reacted To Viral Karrion Kross Rant

An online rant by Karrion Kross on a WWE broadcast has garnered widespread praise among his fellow superstars.

Karrion Kross is a member of the WWE Monday Night Raw roster, often featured in backstage segments, but he doesn’t get to perform in the ring as frequently.

The only match that Kross has had on Raw since December was an April 14th match against AJ Styles, which Styles won.

Many WWE fans consider Karrion Kross an underrated talent, given his limited usage, despite being a former NXT Champion who excels at portraying a heel character that attempts to lure wrestlers to the dark side.

During a post-WWE WrestleMania 41 online show with Sam Roberts & Megan Morant, Kross sat down at the table and went on a rant complaining about Logan Paul and Karrion’s spot in WWE.

“Let’s talk about how awesome it is that Logan Paul just won and let’s talk about Sam, let’s talk about what Logan Paul represents. The short cut, it feels so good to be here, it feels so good to be in the business, thinking about all the funerals that I wasn’t able to attend for the last 11 years in this business, all the holidays I missed.

You know I could have just started a YouTube channel and could have just jumped in there with AJ Styles, it feels really good right? It’s awesome. It’s really good.

You wanna know what the best advice I ever got, it was from Bill Goldberg. 2021 back when I was in the twilight zone you know what I mean? ‘I’m wrestling for gasoline’. It was awesome let me tell you all about it, Bill goes ‘Hey Kross, you what you remind me a lot of me.’

I go ‘I think we have different styles but I really appreciate that, do you have any advice for me?’ And he goes ‘You know what, you gotta just be a good soldier.’ A good soldier, a good soldier is what he said.

So I decided to be a good soldier, you know what happened? They released me. And then I come back, you know what being a good soldier gets you? Everybody here, just in case you’re wondering, being a good soldier gets your times cut. Being a good soldier means that people come up to you and go ‘Hey got any great ideas?’ Yeah here it is from Scarlett, no, no, no, that’s a little too great, we’re looking for good ideas, that’s for those guys over there.’

That’s what being a good soldier is, ok? Being a good solider is coming to your hometown where you cut your teeth and not being on the card, its all about viral moments now. That’s what it’s all about, viral moments. Well guy, everybody’s been telling me that I gotta become undeniable, and as soon as it happens they ignore it and they shut it down.

I never asked to wrestle Randy Orton, I never asked. That happened organically and you ignored it for a viral moment, and good on Joe. Nothing against him but you ignored it. And the crowd told you exactly how they felt about me on SmackDown when I was eliminated and you ignored it.

Become undeniable? My ass. My ass. You want a viral moment? On behalf of all the true fans of professional wrestling, guy with the suit and tie in the truck go f**k yourself. That’s from Killer Kross.”

Killer Kross is the name Karrion Kross used on the independent wrestling scene before signing with WWE.

In his storyline with AJ Styles, Karrion Kross has attempted to get Styles to be more aggressive, similar to his heel days, but Styles has thus far refused Karrion’s advice.

WWE Superstars Thanked Karrion Kross For His Angry Rant

It has been previously reported that Karrion Kross’ WWE contract is set to expire at some point this summer, so it is unclear whether his future lies within WWE and whether the company plans to utilize him more in the future.

Fightful Select reports that Kross has received a lot of support from WWE fans due to his creative work on social media, as well as his unique on-screen character, which is designed to create controversies for other wrestlers. Even though Kross is from Las Vegas, he was not involved in WrestleMania.

The rant that Karrion Kross did on WWE’s online show was a case of Kross weaving in and out of the storyline he has with AJ Styles while continuing to rant about Logan Paul, who beat Styles at WrestleMania 41.

Former NXT Champion Karrion Kross doesn’t have heat within WWE, according to Fightful, but the segment did turn heads. The interview wasn’t scripted for Kross, which is similar to other interviews on the show. The segment required approval from WWE before it was included on the show, which is likely due to the aggressive language used by Kross.

Fightful added that numerous wrestlers in WWE reached out to Kross to thank him for the promo and for doing it in a way that fits his character. There could be others in WWE who are frustrated about not being utilized more, so it’s understandable why Kross’s promo would garner support from others.
