Vince McMahon’s Alleged Victim’s “Suffering Worse When Money Ran Out” Says Mark Henry

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has sparked outrage with his thoughts on the allegations made against Vince McMahon, saying he never heard anything of the sort.

Vince McMahon has been accused of serious sexual assault and sex trafficking by a former WWE employee in a lawsuit that has rocked the company. Since then, Vince McMahon has resigned as Executive Chairman of TKO as the company he led for four decades has gone out of its way to distance itself from McMahon.

While nothing has been proven in court, text messages purported to have come from Vince McMahon contained in the lawsuit have built a troubling picture of the ex-WWE Chairman and his relationship with the employee in question.

But for some, loyalty appears to run deep as speaking on Stories with Brisco & Bradshaw, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry suggested that people only felt they were suffering when money dried up:

He’s going through a tough time and all of the stuff that happened recently and stuff. I never saw none of that. I never heard no negativity like that. Him playing a damn joke on me was the worst of it like, you know, where I felt like, okay, that infringed on the business, but it was nothing remotely bad that I had to say about Vince and I took some heat for saying that before.

People were like, ‘You’re being insensitive and there’s other people that suffered.’ I said, ‘Yeah, but you know, some of those people that y’all talking about suffering, their suffering got worse when the money ran out. Like, where was the suffering when they were getting BMWs and a million dollars? Did that pacify the suffering?’ Because if you are suffering, you should suffer all the time, right? Nothing should get in the way of that. I don’t know. I just come from a different time.

John Cena previously sparked controversy with his comments on the Vince McMahon situation as he seemed to indicate he’d be standing by his former boss no matter what.
