CJ Perry (fka Lana) recently interviewed with TMZ’s Inside The Ring. During the conversation, she revealed that Vince McMahon always wanted the babyfaces to win the matches because he believed that is what the fans wanted and it would boost sales.

First of all, Vince just always, like, the baby faces going over if you really think about it. Like John always went over. John would be going over. I don’t see them [Bron Breakker] winning. He always put the golden goose over because of sales. Like John and Roman. John and Roman very like, how often did they ever lose?

Indeed, fans always pushed for the babyfaces to win the matches, but times have now changed. Both heels and babyfaces are loved by fans, opening up several creative directions for the team.
