Vince McMahon’s Rumored Affair With Male WWE Star “Could Be True”
A bizarre story involving Vince McMahon surfaced recently, thanks to Bret “The Hitman” Hart.
During a recent appearance on the Johnny I Pro Show podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that McMahon and Shawn Michaels might have slept together.
The revelation has split the fans as well as the industry insiders, with some brushing it off, whereas others have found it not surprising.
Former WWE commentator Jim Ross called Bret Hart’s accusations “bullsh*t,” claiming Hart knew how to push the buttons.
On the other hand, ex-WWE wrestler Rene Dupree admitted that it wasn’t the first time he had heard that.
Now, a former manager has spoken about Hart’s comments about Vince McMahon, and although he claimed to have heard similar rumors, he did not confirm if they were true.
While speaking on his podcast, Dutch Mantell (fka Zeb Colter) said:
Well, it had been rumored for years that Vince was, you know, he was a switch-hitter, they claim. And it doesn’t really surprise me that, you know, Brett brought it up ’cause I’ve heard it before.
It’s like you get in wrestling, you know, eat your cereal and say your prayers, and Vince and Shawn, like, sleeping together. It was like the ABCs of wrestling. But is it true? I don’t know if it’s true or not. Could it be true? Well, it could be. But is it? I don’t know.
Vince McMahon Tried To Hire Vince Russo For Free
Years after Vince Russo quit the Stamford promotion, Vince McMahon tried to re-hire him, although this time without any pay.
As revealed by Russo on The Ariel Helwani show, the two Vinces exchanged an email around eight years ago that ended badly.
Russo claimed the incident occurred at a time when the brand was struggling to get the necessary viewership numbers.
So, Vince McMahon asked him to review a month’s worth of episodes and give his feedback. When Russo asked how much he was getting paid, McMahon retorted by saying that he should be happy about getting the opportunity.
When Russo declined, McMahon apparently wrote back, taking personal jabs.
