Vince McMahon’s 3-Word Reaction To Ex-WWE Star Competing With Broken Leg

Vince McMahon only had three words for one WWE star who had to finish a match with a broken leg.

Back in 2002, Maven was still a relative newcomer in WWE, having won the first series of Tough Enough. He might have survived a series of matches with Tazz as well as eliminating The Undertaker from the Royal Rumble, but a match with Christian on SmackDown soon brought his momentum to a halt.

During the match, Maven suffered a broken leg but gritted things out to finish the match. Afterwards, the star had a six-month layoff as he recovered from his injury.

Vince McMahon Happy Maven Carried On

Speaking on his YouTube channel, former WWE star Maven showed his wife what happened when he broke his leg during a WWE match and why Vince McMahon’s presence made him keep going to finish the bout:

The thought of not continuing never entered my mind. I knew we were in front of an audience, and more importantly, I knew Vince McMahon was right back there. He didn’t even know my leg was broken until later on that night. When someone told him, he said, “Finish the match,” and he was happy. That’s just a big wrestler thing: if you get injured, you continue, you finish.
