WWE Unexpectedly Acknowledges Vince McMahon at WWE Wrestlepalooza

WWE Hall Of Famer Remembers The Bizarre Reason They Sued Vince McMahon

WWE begins its ESPN era tonight with the launch of its very first Wrestlepalooza event.

The show kicked off with a video package highlighting WWE’s history with ESPN throughout the years. Triple H then welcomed the fans to the show and ushered the new era. During the video package, many WWE stars and personalities were featured. One notable name that popped up on the screen was Vince McMahon.

Vince McMahon Hasn’t Been in WWE in a While

Vince McMahon has been absent since January 2024 after resigning as executive chairman of TKO Group amid allegations of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and misconduct by former WWE employee Janel Grant.

WWE has firmly stated it has no plans to bring him back in any capacity, emphasizing a shift to new leadership under Triple H for WWE’s creative direction. McMahon still owns a minority stake in TKO but has largely cut ties with WWE operations.

Despite a private birthday celebration attended by WWE legends in August 2025, he remains out of the public WWE spotlight, focusing on his private investment firm and personal life.
