WWE Hall Of Famer Still Admires This 1 Thing About Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon

A WWE Hall of Famer has reacted to the Vince McMahon documentary on Netflix while also revealing something they always admired about their old boss.

There is a lot going on in the wrestling business as usual, but something that has gotten a lot of attention over the last couple of weeks is the Vince McMahon docuseries on Netflix titled Mr. McMahon.

It is a documentary that started in 2020 with the approval of Vince McMahon, who did multiple interviews for the series over a few years.

However, things changed when a lawsuit was filed against McMahon by a former WWE employee named Janel Grant accusing him of sexual assault and sex trafficking.

Vince McMahon also criticized the documentary before it was released while claiming that he had been misrepresented. It was even reported that McMahon tried to buy the documentary from Netflix to prevent it from airing, but that didn’t work.

Rob Van Dam is a WWE Hall of Famer who won the WWE Championship and many other titles during his career in the company through most of the 2000s and returned a couple of years later. RVD is on good terms with WWE since he recently appeared on Smackdown as well.

While speaking on his 1 Of A Kind podcast, RVD said that he liked the documentary about his former boss Vince McMahon.

“I really enjoyed it. I thought they did a great job. It was awesome learning and just going through the history of what we all loved, growing up on [the] WWF. And then, of course, seeing how I’m interjected into the timeline there is always fascinating.”

“I didn’t think it made Vince look bad — a little bit at the end. Through the whole thing, it was like a roller coaster, you know? A controversy and then he slides out of it, and he’s on top.”

Vince McMahon’s Intelligence Is Something RVD Has Always Admired

As he continued, RVD spoke about how he admired Vince McMahon’s intelligence and still does.

“Hearing Vince, most of what he said — just like always, I admire his intelligence. I’ve always felt that way and I still did, watching this.”
