Vince McMahon Will Allegedly Try To Buy WWE Back

Vince McMahon holding money WWE

Vince McMahon is a name that will never be forgotten in the pro-wrestling industry regardless of whether or not he remains a wrestling promoter.

The Big Man ran the company for four decades before stepping away from creative control in 2022. He sold WWE to Endeavor Group in 2023, and cut all ties with TKO by selling his final shares in 2024.

Lately, there have been rumours of Vince McMahon looking into a buyback. There hasn’t been any concrete claims about the same from the pro-wrestling mogul, and TKO representatives have dismissed it altogether.

Vince McMahon might not be able to buy back WWE

While TKO has no option but to entertain the offer if the former CEO can come up with an enticing offer that benefits the shareholders, the wrestling juggernaut is currently not for sale.

The same was discussed during WrestleVotes Q&A on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, and WrestleVotes made the revelation that even if McMahon truly is determined to purchase back WWE from TKO, he might not be successful in this endeavor.

I think he’s gonna try, don’t think he’s gonna be able to re-buy the company. As bad as he wants, it’s currently not for sale, don’t think it’ll be for sale, but I do wanna say I love the name, the old homage to capitol wrestling. For whatever this company becomes, I do think it’s a creative name so we’ll see what he can get into.

Amidst the rumors of The Big Man planning to buyback WWE, he launched a new business venture called 14th and I. This name pays homage to the global juggernaut.

WWE was once known as Capitol Wrestling Corporation, and the headquarters was situated in 14th and I Street in Washington.
