Vince McMahon Will Allegedly Run WWE Again
One word that has usually followed Vince McMahon in his lifetime is ‘crafty.’
The former WWE boss has not been associated with the company since January 2024.
The focus, since then, has been on Triple H and TKO. However, McMahon recently returned to the news after launching his new company, 14TH & I.
As they say, you can take the businessman out of the office, but you cannot take the business out of the businessman.
Ever since reports about McMahon’s new venture came out, there have been speculations that he may be looking to reclaim WWE.
No one who has spoken about this topic has refuted Vince McMahon’s potential intentions.
The latest personality to add fuel to the fire is American journalist Bill Apter.
Apter appeared on WrestleVotes Q&A, and when the subject of WWE acquiring other companies came up, he said his piece.
We’re talking about WWE buying…TKO buying other companies, I’m gonna say something that I haven’t said anywhere.
No matter what legal issues, no matter what anything is, Vince McMahon never loses. He’s got a way of turning things around and being a successful entrepreneur with just about everything he’s done except the World Bodybuilding Federation. I find in my mind, and I don’t know where it’s gonna happen, I hear TKO, you know, is in some sort of a financial disarray.
I have a feeling it may not be very soon that Vince McMahon is going to successfully, possibly with his son, find a way to blow away all this legal stuff and he’s gonna wind up running WWE again. [10:05 onwards]
Vince McMahon’s Obstacles In Reclaiming WWE
Vince McMahon’s return to WWE could be fraught with difficulties.
For starters, the 79-year-old will have to make an offer that TKO cannot refuse. Furthermore, the company has undergone significant changes under Triple H’s leadership.
A change in leadership will also disrupt the current cash flow, as WWE partners may not want McMahon at the helm due to his ongoing sexual assault and trafficking lawsuit.
Former ECW star Francine shared her insights on Eyes Up Here with Francine.
If he (Vince McMahon) came back to WWE, that would be huge, that would really be huge but, like, has he burnt too many bridges with certain people there? Do they want him there because Triple H is changing the whole trajectory of the company and now it seems they are on a really good pace to just keep growing. When Vince was there, talent was complaining about not being pushed or not being pushed the right way.
McMahon’s son, Shane, has also previously addressed rumors about his father’s interest in getting WWE back.
