Update On Vince McMahon, Triple H & Nick Khan’s “Creative Intervention Meeting”
Vince McMahon has had his fingerprints all over WWE shows in recent weeks and has even scrapped advertised matches at the last minute as he exerts his influence on the company.
Vince McMahon forced his way back onto the WWE Board of Directors in early 2023 after previously announcing his retirement in July 2022 amid scandals. Since then, McMahon has not been at many shows but he is not being shy about making changes to creative despite Triple H officially having control of that area of the company as the Chief Content Officer.
With McMahon making his presence felt behind the scenes, rumors emerged that Triple H and WWE CEO Nick Khan were set to meet with the Executive Chairman in what was termed a “creative intervention meeting” in the hopes of limiting the last-minute changes to shows.
Fightful Select has now reported that the meeting was set to take place at the June 26th edition of Raw but it doesn’t seem that it happened and it is also noted that such a meeting might not be planned at all. One WWE official is said to have dismissed the idea as silly but it is important to note that WWE higher-ups previously dismissed the idea that Vince McMahon would be returning to have creative influence in the company.

Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel previously made clear that he refused to let McMahon walk away from the wrestling business and the 77-year-old will be made Executive Chairman of the TKO Group when the takeover is complete. The TKO Group will be the parent company that has control of both WWE and UFC.
