Vince McMahon Thanked At WWE Hall Of Fame
Vince McMahon has now been mentioned on WWE television after he was thanked at the Hall of Fame, the first time he has been mentioned by name in a long time.
Vince McMahon has been accused of serious sexual abuse in a lawsuit that ultimately proved to bring about his downfall as WWE boss. Since then, the company has moved on and tried to distance itself as far as possible from McMahon.
But at the WWE Hall of Fame, McMahon’s son-in-law Triple H was being inducted, and it might have been stranger if The Game hadn’t mentioned McMahon than if he had.
Triple H Breaks Silence On Vince McMahon
During his speech, Triple H called his relationship with McMahon “complicated” due to its personal and business nature. He continued by thanking McMahon and telling him he loved him:
When there’s somebody that helps you propel that far, you owe them so much. He taught me so much, what to do, what not to do. I’m so grateful for all of those lessons. I love you Vince, and thank you.
Triple H also thanked the rest of the McMahon family, including his mother-in-law, Linda McMahon, who was in attendance, sitting next to Stephanie McMahon, as well as Shane McMahon, who was not at the event.
Vince McMahon might be feeling the love as John Cena expressed his love for the fallen WWE Chairman despite the accusations that have been made against him.
